

On the DM-780 toolbar, click on the "Program Options" icon. Once you have the TX button configured click the "SAVE" button on the bottom of the configuration window and you will be returned to the main DM780 window.

If you are using a Kenwood TS-590 series radio, instead of selecting the "TX" option from the "Select Button" menu, select the "TX DATA" option to configure the TX button. There is one exception to the above setting. This configures the TX button in the Radio Pane to use the proper CAT commands for your radio to activate the digital PTT when you begin a digital transmission.
